Choose which property management listing option suits your circumstances:

Affordable Rentals

Your property will be listed at less than 75% of the full market rent to provide a benefit to qualified households on low to moderate incomes. Your property will then qualify for full land tax exemption rebate and other benefits. You will receive our full property management service.

Full Market rate rentals

Your property is listed at full market rate and will not qualify for any land tax exemptions. You receive our full property management service.

Our process for owners when listing your property

Once you have signed a property management services agreement with HomeGround, we undertake a thorough process to ensure your property is ready for listing. We then accept, screen and shortlist applicants to ensure we are finding the right tenant for your property.

Step 1

Marketing Research

Understanding the local market is key to finding the right tenants for your property. Our team are dedicated to finding current trends in your neighbourhood.

Step 2

Property Maintenance

Our team may suggest ways you can spruce up your property to ensure you present it in its best light to quality potential tenants.

Step 3

Marketing Prep and Launch

We work with our marketing team to create property collateral that may include on-site signage, social and/or print media and more.

Step 4

Open for Inspections

Once your property is looking sharp and our marketing is out there, we kick off inspections and schedule open houses.

Step 5

Application Approval

We do a thorough vetting of potential tenants. This includes checking employment status and rental references to make sure we present you with the best candidates.

Step 6

Tenant Sign-up

We provide a thorough introduction to their responsibilities. They’ll sign all the necessary paperwork, including the tenancy agreement and related documents, a copy of which we’ll send to you by email.

Step 7

Tenant Move In

It’s move-in day for your tenant! Keys are collected from our office, where we ensure a seamless transition on their rental journey. Tenants have the chance to talk to their new leasing manager and ask any questions.

Step 8

14-Day Check-in

After your tenant has settled in, we’ll give them a call to see how things are going during their first couple of weeks. We’ll touch base about the condition and inventory report.
